Stacie's Myth

In my writing I have been focusing on:
Adding vivid descriptions so the reader can visualise my story
Using speech marks correctly
Structuring my myth as a narrative with an explanation of why something is the way it is

WHY OWLS HAVE BIG EYES

Years and years ago there was an old wizard named Doddle, he lived all alone on the big white cloud of New Zealand. He loved to talk to his mum over timeface on his pad I. One day he was he was sitting down watching T.V. , suddenly an owl flew into the cloud house. "Um who are you?" said doddle

"I'm professor Hikklebottom" replied the owl.
"And why are you in my cloud house?" asked Doddle.
"Because I can’t see were I'm going, I'm as blind as a bat." replied the owl
Doddle understood his problem, he needed glasses. "you need glasses that's what you need"
"there's a problem, Its really hard to find glasses small enough for an owl." Doddle tried everything for his new friend, he tried staring; glaring and even scaring but nothing helped. It came to the time where he had to do a spell, the biggest challenge ever, the most hardest and by far the most riskiest spell you could ever think of THE EYE ENLARGEMENT SPELL. "Professor sit down we need to talk, are you willing to take the risk of the EYE ENLARGEMENT SPELL."
" Well I guess its worth a try but why is it a risk" asked the owl.
"Because your eyes can go BOOM!!!!!"
" OK." He sat on the chair. It all came down to this.
"Allah cazam alla ca zoom the eye enlargement spell try not to make them go BOOM!!!!!!!!!!" Doddle said in a wizardy way.
"OH MY GOLLY GOSH IT WORKED! Thank you so much doddle, I'll tell all my friends."
And from that day onward doddle owned an eye enlargement spell shop and that's why owls have such big eyes.

  1. Very interesting myth Stacie. Try to make sure you've not said anything twice and that your spelling and punctuation is correct.
