Response to Vandalism
Dear Editor,
I am writing to you today to express my feelings and concern about the ruthless attack on the cultural wooden children that are placed across the Clevedon School fence line.
I know personally that the Year 5 and 6 children, parents and teachers spent countless hours and so much effort to produce such wonderful art, only for it to be destroyed in a matter of minutes.
They were supposed to reduce the speed of cars coming from North road to our School, not to attract vandals.
It disgusts me how possibly someone from the community could have done such a horrible thing. I am absolutely gutted that my wooden child may not be fixable, which would mean my wooden child wouldn't be along the Clevedon School fence line anymore. This is extremely disappointing for me.
So please if anyone knows anything about this crime please contact the police because vandalism is not ok.
Yours sincerely Maverick Hayes
